Seleni: archaeology, landscape, nature
The combination of the archaeological remains and the evocative natural environment give to Bosco Seleni (Lanusei) the name of Archaeological Park.
The trip starts with a guided tour of the nuragic site: the best preserved structures are two giants' tombs (XV-VII century BC), where three rare pierced stones have been rediscovered, and the remains of the nuraghe Gennacìli, curiously perched on a huge granite boulder, a sign of perfect coexistence between man and nature.
The visit continues with a dip in nature, where the rustle of the trees and the chirping of the birds accompany a pleasant hike along the paths that branch off under a dense forest of oaks that lead to the amazing panoramic view of Sa furca 'e sa pruna.
No special clothing is required: easily accessible paths.
Along the paths you can find some granite tables for pleasant picnics and, for children, a mini outdoor playground.
